FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 16th August 2005 NextGen Sciences announces the appointment of new Chief Executive Officer NextGen Sciences Ltd (Cambridgeshire, UK and Illinois, USA) has today announced the appointment of Dr James Heffernan as the Company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect. Dr Heffernan has over 20 years experience in the global life science market and joins NextGen Sciences from Upstate Ltd where he held the position of Managing Director, Europe. Previously Dr Heffernan held senior executive positions with Sigma-Aldrich Corp, MO, USA and Promega Corp, WI, USA.
