European Sales Specialist

Due to recent growth of NextGen Sciences' customer base in Europe we are looking to appoint a European Sales Specialist to drive sales activities in Eastern and Northern Europe. The position will involve growing the sales of NextGen Sciences' products and services in Germany, Switzerland, the Nordic region and emerging markets in Eastern Europe.

We are seeking candidates with a proven track record in life science sales. You will be educated to a least degree level in life sciences with a thorough understanding of modern molecular biology techniques including cloning, protein expression, and expression proteomics. The ideal candidate should also have a theoretical knowledge of Mass Spectrometry applied to protein identification. NextGen Sciences are actively developing their distribution and OEM partners globally. Candidates with a proven track record of Distribution sales management will be favored.

Qualifications >

- BA/BS, MS degree in Life Sciences.
- Well developed professional and strategic sales skills with proven ability to develop and grow Key Accounts through networking at all levels on the customer organization.
- Highly motivated and successful individual who enjoys a challenging and dynamic work environment.
- Strong desire to win business and establish long term customer relationships.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Life Science sales or a related area.
- Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Detail and service oriented individual.
- Strong technical background in molecular biology, protein expression and analysis is required.
