Jake Orville
Vice President of Global Sales

     
   

Jacob (Jake) is a results-oriented sales and business development executive with expertise in emerging and established medical markets.
Jake has served as the Vice-President of Global Sales and Business Development for Third Wave Technologies, a U.S. biotechnology company. While at Third Wave, Jake grew annual diagnostics sales from less than $3 million to a run rate in excess of $25 million over a three-year period.
Prior to joining Third Wave, Jake held sales, specialist, and management positions for SMITHS Medical, a $1.8 Billion global medical device and equipment manufacturing company focused in critical care.

     
     

Grant Cameron
Commercial Director

     
   

Dr Cameron joined NextGen Sciences in July 2002 and has a wealth of technical and commercial experience from working in a variety of companies within the life sciences industry. Prior to joining NextGen Sciences, Dr Cameron was employed at Sense Proteomic Ltd where, as Business Development Manager, he was responsible for the launch of the first two functional protein arrays on the market and driving their commercial strategy. Previously, Dr Cameron was the Global Product Manager for a wide range of proteomics technologies at Genomic Solutions Ltd (UK) and was the Technical Support Manager for the Gilson automated separations technologies at Anachem Ltd (UK).

     
     

Ian Kelly
Chief Technology Officer

     
   

Mr Kelly joined the company in January 2001(employee #5) and has extensive product development experience in a variety of different industries, including avionics, petrochemical and transportation. Prior to joining NextGen Sciences, Mr Kelly worked at Terrington Systems as Principal Engineer where he led a multi-disciplinary team developing an innovative high-performance aircraft data recorder and data-warehousing system for a variety of different customers including the Ministry of Defence, BAE SYSTEMS and NASA. Previously he worked at the engineering consultancy Oscar Faber as Senior Consultant, project managing the design and development of a variety of different transportation information and control systems.
